s
To increase efficiency and reduce wait times, the ATF is now accepting eForm applications for a number of ATF applications.
Using our state-of-the-art portable fingerprint lab, we can further simplify this process by completing the entire transaction at a time and place most convenient for you.
Our experienced fingerprint technician will capture your fingerprints and transmit your completed ATF eForm application in one quick, convenient, and efficient step.
What You Can Expect
Before your scheduled appointment, you must register for an eFrom account on the ATF website, and download and complete the eFrom application you want to submit.
We will arrive promptly on the day, time, and location you specify for your appointment.
Our experienced fingerprint technician will begin your session by confirming the information you provided on our online scheduler, reviewing any additional documents you request, and getting set up.
Using our state-of-the-art mobile fingerprint lab, we need only a solid surface and 10 minutes per customer to obtain clear, precise fingerprint captures.
Once captured, fingerprints and relevant information will be transmitted electronically to the ATF for processing.
Once transmitted, you can monitor your application on the portal you created on the ATF website.
FAQs
On average, how long does it take the ATF to process an eForm submission?
While a set processing time cannot be guaranteed, the ATF reports a dramatic reduction in the time it takes to process eForms compared to paper applications.
For example, paper applications for Forms 2, 3, 5, and 9 averaged 30–120 days to process, and Form 1 applications averaged 60 days. The average processing time for each of these applications as eFroms was just 10 days.
How can I track the status of my ATF eForm submission?
You can track the status of your ATF eForm submission by logging into your eForms account and checking the status of your application.
Once logged in, you can view the progress of your submission and receive updates on any changes in the processing status.
Can I cancel an ATF eForm submission?
Yes. The cancellation of an approved status eForm must be done by directing a written request to the NFA Branch (the address listed on the form) or an email to the NFA Branch ([email protected]).
