WHO THIS PAGE IS FOR
Fingerprinting for Applicable Vocational Rehabilitation Providers and Programs
Florida Vocational Rehabilitation works with providers and independent-living programs that can have background-screening requirements for specified employees and volunteers.
The fingerprint routing depends on two things: the program type and whether the applicant is an employee or volunteer. Using the wrong ORI can route the screening incorrectly.
Before You Book
- Confirm Vendor Registration vs. Independent Living
- Confirm Employee vs. Volunteer
- Bring the instructions you were issued

IMPORTANT CURRENT-SCREENING NOTE
Some Vocational Rehabilitation Providers May Use the AHCA Clearinghouse
Current Florida Vocational Rehabilitation guidance indicates that some provider background screenings are processed through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
If your current instructions direct you to the Clearinghouse, follow those instructions rather than selecting an older ORI based only on a previous screening.
Do Not Guess
Bring the most recent screening instructions supplied by Vocational Rehabilitation, your provider organization, or your program contact.
